Fight at teen’s party leaves 2 arrested, 4 hospitalized

Two Sacramento men have been arrested, accused of assaulting guests at a large party in Roseville last month.

Placer County sheriff’s deputies responded the night of May 24 to a report of a large fight and disturbance at the Placer County Fairgrounds, where a quinceanera celebration, marking a girl’s 15th birthday, was being held. They learned that a fight broke out after two men, who were not invited to the party, refused to leave.

One of the suspects allegedly hit one of the party goers in the head with the bottle and the other suspect reportedly stabbed another party goer several times, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. In all, four people were sent to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The two suspects fled the area before deputies arrived. Detectives identified the suspects as Zenon Isidoro Jr., 18, and Marcos Rojas Diaz, 22, both of Sacramento. Placer County detectives, along with members of the Sacramento County sheriff’s major crimes bureau, served arrest warrants Friday at the men’s homes, and both were taken into custody. Both were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Isidoro (pictured) was booked at the Placer County Jail and Diaz, at the Sacramento County Jail.
