Re "BOE adds new names to delinquent tax list" (Business, June 10): So there are $491.2 million owed in sales and use taxes that are unpaid, and the Board of Equalization is trying to goad delinquent taxpayers into payment of these taxes? Why doesn't the BOE go after these people in a more agressive way?
If the BOE is pursuing these delinquent taxpayers by some other means, then your article is misleading. At any rate, if the state can tolerate almost one half billion in delinquent taxes, then I will not ever vote for any new taxes.
