As the region transitions into summer, the National Weather Service reports there will be little change in the weather in Sacramento through the weekend.
More abnormally hot weather is predicted as temperatures in Sacramento remain in the mid-90s, which is about a half dozen degrees above average for this time of year. Summer officially begins at 3:51 a.m. Saturday.
High temperatures are predicted to be in the mid-90s throughout the Central Valley and in the 70s to low 90s in the mountains and the foothills.
