The Bee’s Jason Jones forecasts the first round of today’s NBA draft:

1. CAVALIERS

JABARI PARKER

SF, Duke

The Cavaliers opt for the most NBA-ready prospect to join two other former No. 1 picks on their roster.

2. BUCKS

ANDREW WIGGINS

SF, Kansas

He will bring highlight-reel plays to a team that had the worst record in the NBA last season.

3. 76ERS

DANTE EXUM

PG, Australia

The 76ers would have an intriguing backcourt pairing Exum with Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams.

4. MAGIC

MARCUS SMART

PG, Oklahoma State

Jameer Nelson’s eventual replacement is physically imposing and tenacious.

5. JAZZ

JOEL EMBIID

C, Kansas

Foot injuries will keep the best center available from going No. 1 overall.

6. CELTICS

NOAH VONLEH

PF, Indiana

The Boston-area native will have a chance to help revive the Celtics.

7. LAKERS

JULIUS RANDLE

PF, Kentucky

There are questions about an old foot injury, but none about his NBA-ready talent.

8. KINGS

AARON GORDON

PF, Arizona

The Kings would be thrilled if Gordon slips to them, but they are looking to make a deal.

9. HORNETS

DOUG McDERMOTT

SF, Creighton

Charlotte needs perimeter shooting to open up its stagnant offense, and “McBuckets” might be the best shooter in the draft.

10. 76ERS

RODNEY HOOD

SF, Duke

He’s a talented scorer whose stock has risen in the weeks leading up to the draft.

11. NUGGETS

ZACH LaVINE

SG/PG, UCLA

He’s an extremely good athlete who can also pass, shoot and handle the ball.

12. MAGIC

NIK STAUSKAS

SG, Michigan

He’s one of the top perimeter shooters available, along with McDermott.

13. TIMBERWOLVES

GARY HARRIS

SG, Michigan State

Regardless of Kevin Love’s fate, the Timberwolves need perimeter scoring.

14. SUNS

ADREIAN PAYNE

PF, Michigan State

Payne is athletic with A shooting touch, a good fit with the Suns’ style.

15. HAWKS

JAMES YOUNG

SG, Kentucky

Another wing scorer to complement Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver; will work well with a healthy Al Horford.

16. BULLS

DARIO SARIC

PF, Croatia

Saric will play overseas, saving cap space for the Bulls to make a splash in free agency.

17. CELTICS

ELFRID PAYTON

PG, La.-Lafayette

A defensive-minded playmaker who can learn behind Rajon Rondo if Rondo isn’t dealt.

18. SUNS

KYLE ANDERSON

SF, UCLA

A big point guard (6-foot-9) in college, Anderson is a playmaker with great size and instincts.

19. BULLS

SHABAZZ NAPIER

PG, Connecticut

Leader from the NCAA champs plays with grit, making him a natural fit with the Bulls.

20. RAPTORS

TYLER ENNIS

PG, Syracuse

Kyle Lowry will be a free agent and this young playmaker could replace him.

21. THUNDER

T.J. WARREN

SF, N.C. State

The Thunder needs more options off the bench; Warren was one of the top scorers in college.

22. GRIZZLIES

CLEANTHONY EARLY

SF, Wichita State

He’s versatile and was the leader for an undefeated team in the regular season.

23. JAZZ

GLENN ROBINSON III

SF, Michigan

Son of the No. 1 pick in 1994 would be reunited with college teammate Trey Burke.

24. HORNETS

JUSUF NURKIC

C, Bosnia-Herzegovina

At 6-11 and 280 pounds, he could learn how to use his size from veteran Al Jefferson.

25. ROCKETS

JERAMI GRANT

SF, Syracuse

Houston might take this intriguing prospect if it doesn’t deal the pick to save money for free agency.

26. HEAT

JORDAN CLARKSON

PG/SG, Missouri

The Heat could use him for depth if Mario Chalmers leaves as a free agent.

27. SUNS

JORDAN ADAMS

SG, UCLA

He’s active on both ends of the floor; his strength is scoring, making him a good fit for Phoenix.

28. CLIPPERS

JARNELL STOKES

PF, Tennessee

The Clippers need frontcourt depth as they enter next season as a title contender.

29. THUNDER

C.J. WILCOX

SG, Washington

He’s another scorer who might help the Thunder off the bench immediately.

30. SPURS

THANASIS ANTETOKOUNMPO

SF, Greece/

Delaware 87ers

The Spurs could develop him without the pressure to play him immediately.
