I've had a recurring dream about cruising down Interstate 80 between Watt Avenue and the Interstate 5 interchange on a modern, state of the art freeway. After all, we've been building one there for about eight years.
Alas, my dream was again dashed today when I noted that, although the pavement is down and all of the bridges seem to be complete, the lanes are still blocked and no activity was noted. Even in early afternoon, the traffic is bumper-to-bumper. Maybe we can get the outfit that redid Highway 50 to sort this out?
