Whooping cough outbreak linked to vaccinations

Published: Sunday, Jun. 29, 2014 - 9:06 pm

Re "Whooping cough threatening once again to run wild to run wild" (Editorial, June 22): The outbreak of whooping cough is occuring in mostly vaccinated children.

In a study by Dr. David Witt, an infectious disease specialist, 81 percent of the cases were fully vaccinated, 11 percent were partly vaccinated and only 8 percent were not vaccinated. Glaxo Smith Kline, the vaccine maker, did not conduct any long-term studies for the effectiveness of this vaccine.

It seems the vaccine is causing the whooping cough outbreak. Please report the truth.
