Re "High court's ruling is both bad policy and bad medicine" (Viewpoints, July 1): The liberal hysteria engendered by this ruling is untenable. This piece uses the words "potential," "dangerous precedent," and "wide repercussions." This was a narrowly written opinion in favor of religious freedom. Hobby Lobby covers 16 of 20 contraceptives, but that isn't good enough for leftists. They pay their employee associates upward of $14 an hour, but that isn't good enough either. Nobody is forcing anybody to work there and, if the left wishes to force the issue, maybe a good employer will go down costing many good paying jobs. Who was paying for contraceptives before the Affordable Care Act kicked up this fuss? I would rather stay out of the exam rooms of overreaching tyrants.
