Woodland’s State Theatre is not ready for its close-up – but it might be a year or so from now, if plans to renovate and expand the downtown cinema landmark are carried through by theater chain Cinema West. The plan, budgeted at about $10 million, would create a total of 10 screens and reduce the main room’s (shown above) seating capacity to around 300.
