Re "Do homework on Hobby Lobby" (Letters, July 10): Letter writer Suzan Hunt demonstrates that she is one of those low-information voters that she complains about. While it is true that the Hobby Lobby corporation only objected to four of the 20 forms of birth control covered under the Affordable Care Act, it is equally true that other lawsuits from other corporations objected to all 20 forms. Lower courts have ruled in favor of these other companies, and the Supreme Court explicitly allowed these rulings to stand.
It is, in fact, the case that any closely held corporation in the United States can refuse to provide any contraception coverage to its employees by claiming a religious objection. Ms Hunt should have taken her own advice and done her own homework before writing her letter.
