Woman guilty in stabbing death

A Sacramento Superior Court jury found a woman guilty Friday of first degree murder in the stabbing death of 27-year-old Foothills resident.

Delina Williams, 45, faces 26 years to life in prison in the Oct. 24, 2011 incident, the office of District Attorney Jan Scully said.

Williams stabbed the 27-year-old Foothill Resident over 50 times on the head, neck, chest and back in Brock’s Emerald Oaks apartment during an argument.

Brock’s body was found more than a week after the stabbing. Brock’s mother and her mother’s boyfriend were concerned after not hearing from her and found her apartment door unlocked. Brock’s car was missing but was found outside Sacramento County, where Williams abandoned it after fleeing the murder scene. Williams tried to pay for gas using Brock’s credit card.

Williams is to scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 19 at 9 am in Department 40.
