Demetrious Johnson will defend flyweight title on UFC 177 at Sleep Train Arena

Demetrious Johnson will defend his UFC flyweight title against Chris Cariaso as the co-main event of UFC 177 on Aug. 30 at Sleep Train Arena.

In the main event, TJ Dillashaw (11-2) of Angels Camp will defend his bantamweight title against Renan Barao (34-2), the fighter he beat to win the title on May 24 in Las Vegas.

This will be the fifth defense for Johnson (20-2-1), who has held the flyweight title since Sept. 22, 2012. Cariaso (17-5) has won his last three bouts.
