A couple of 100-degree days are on the way to Sacramento this week.

A moderate 89 degrees is forecast for Wednesday, followed by a quick kick start to the warm-up. The Delta breeze is waning and high pressure is building.

The warming trend for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday up and down the Sacramento Valley, courtesy of the National Weather Service:

Sacramento: 89, 96 and 100

Redding: 91, 97, 100

Red Bluff: 92, 97, 100

Chico: 87, 92, 95

Oroville: 90, 95, 98

Yuba City: 90, 96, 99

Most valley locations should have fair skies on Wednesday. It is anticipated that high pressure pushing in over the Pacific Northwest on Thursday morning will bring breezes from the north.
