Kearns at Christian Brothers
What: If you miss the chance tonight to hear tenor Anthony Kearns in concert, you’ve tapped into the luck of the Irish with a second performance organized by the La Salle Club of Christian Brothers High School. Kearns performs an evening of songs from Broadway, opera and Ireland, and shares the billing with Sacramento’s McKeever School of Irish Dance.

Electronic aura in Roseville
What: The newly launched weekly Electronic Dance Skate features professionally trained DJs, laser light shows, black lights and music videos. Lace up the skates and join the crowd the dancing to hip-hop, top 40 remixes and electronic dance music.

Starting with ‘Hello Dolly’
What: Big movies, big screen. Cinemark theaters continues to present legacy films at select theaters, this time a trio of award-winning musicals: “Hello Dolly,” “Moulin Rouge” and “Oklahoma!”
When: First show starts at 11:15 a.m. Saturday; 1 p.m. Tuesday

Children’s fun at Discovery
What: See butterflies up close – really, really close –and walk among local species in the butterfly garden. Kids can make giant butterfly wings and then wear them home.
