UPDATE: Missing Rosemont bicyclist reported safe in Bay Area

A man who was reported missing from his Rosemont residence has been located in the Bay Area and is safe, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.

Kyle Fallon, 23, left his home in the 9100 block of Rosewood Drive at about noon on June 28. He left on his bicycle, saying that he was going to ride along an undetermined stretch of the American River. He did not take his wallet, had no access to money and possessed no means of communicating with family or friends, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release. He had not been heard from since leaving home.

Sheriff’s officials said Fallon was is considered at-risk because his extended absence was inconsistent with his usual behavior.
