Two at-risk adult males were reported missing in the last five days, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department said Saturday evening.
Michael Sachau,43, has not been heard from by friends and family since he last called in sick to work on Tuesday. A search by law enforcement officials at his home within the 800 block of Fulton Avenue and other places he is known to frequent turned up dry.
Department spokeswoman Lisa Bowman said in a release that Sachau’s friends and family said it would not be normal behavior for him to disappear for such a long period. He is a white male who stands about 6’2” tall, weighs about 260 pounds and has short brown hair, blue eyes, a full beard and a mustache.
The second man, Steve Bosick, 51, was last seen boarding a light rail bus at Mather field and Folsom Boulevard Saturday afternoon. Bosick is known to have dementia and seizures but is believed to not have medication for these conditions with him.
Bosick is a white male with grey and black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in a red t-shirt with black edges on the ends of the sleeves, blue jeans and black shoes.
The two cases are unrelated.
