Look for temperatures to climb this week as a weak low pressure system moves slowly east, taking with it the showery conditions of Monday and Tuesday.
Sacramento weather will return to normal, which means hot weather starting on Thursday when 97 degrees is forecast. The high on Wednesday is expected to be 89, which is four degrees below normal for early August.
Areas of cloudiness are predicted to moderate temperatures this morning, but less cloud cover the next few days will allow temperatures to return to what summer usually feels like in Sacramento.
