Carradine, 49ers defensive lineman log big minutes in Baltimore

Tank Carradine figured he'd play perhaps 20 snaps in his NFL debut on Thursday. The defensive linemen ended up playing triple that as the 49ers, already thin on defensive linemen, lost two more in the game. Sixty snaps would be considered a fairly busy game in the regular season.

Both injuries, to ends Demarcus Dobbs and Lawrence Okoye, were ankle sprains. Okoye's certainly seems more serious than Dobbs'. The numbers were so low that former defensive lineman Will Tukuafu, who has been practicing exclusively at fullback, took four defensive snaps

Here's the snap allotment from Thursday. The Ravens ran 77 offensive plays; the 49ers only had 46. The second number listed is special teams snaps.
