The screening takes approximately ten minutes and will be conducted in one of the RV’s two private screening rooms. The RV will be parked at a Rite Aid at 7211 Elk Grove Blvd. Dermotologists will conduct screenings from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Dermotologists will provide education on how to conduct skin checks at home, and there will be free giveaways of sunscreen and other items. The tour is presented by Rite-Aid in conjunction with the Skin Cancer Foundation. The RV is stopping at more than 50 Rite Aids across 17 states.

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States, with 2 million people diagnosed annually.
