A Girl and Her Fork try dukkah
I recently ran across dukkah in the spice aisle and figured I'd give it a try. Dukkah (pronounced DOO-kah) is an Egyptian blend of ground toasted nuts, seeds and spices. It's quite healthy and nutritious. Dukkah can be sprinkled on meat or veggies but most people enjoy it by combining it with some olive oil and dunking some warm pita or crusty bread in it. It's easy to make at home but you can easily find it at a lot of ethnic or specialty stores these days too. I tried store bought dukkah and it was okay. I've since then made it at home and like it better.

Finding Our Way Now plays with marshmallows
I decided to create some marshmallow critters, one being these marshmallow caterpillars. These little marshmallow caterpillars were just what were needed to have a bit of fun on a hot summer day.1 It always takes a bit of figuring to get the right materials and establish the best way to assemble the end product. ... I had been gardening in the cool of the morning and I ran across the usual suspects: caterpillars, bumblebees and ladybugs – a gardener’s best friends. By now you probably guessed that I am a big kid at heart. I do love creating fun edible projects like this in the kitchen – thus the marshmallow caterpillars.

Just the Two of Us makes pork filet
I decided to check it out and he does make some incredible looking food plus he just published an e-cookbook called Eating Savory which is gluten-free and paleo recipes. I down loaded the recipes and decided to blog some of the recipes that I try. I thought this would be both healthy and a new inspiration for the blog.
