Sunny skies are in the forecast this weekend for Sacramento, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday’s high temperature is expected to hit 94 degrees, with overnight lows dipping to around 60 degrees.
“It’s going to hold pretty steady with a slight cooling trend,” weather service forecaster Cindy Matthews said of the upcoming week.
A small low pressure system will likely to push temperatures below 90 degrees as early as Monday, she said.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 94. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph.
Saturday night: Clear, with a low around 60. South southwest wind 6 to 8 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 91. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.
Sunday night: Clear, with a low around 61. South wind around 7 mph.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 89. South southwest wind around 6 mph.
Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 88.
Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 87.
Wednesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 86.
Thursday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85.
