6.0 earthquake registered in south Napa County

An earthquake measuring 6.0 was reported by the U.S. Geological Survey northwest of American Canyon, in Napa County.

The quake was recorded at 3:20 a.m. at a depth of 10.8 kilometers, about 6.7 miles deep.

The San Francisco Chronicle was reporting that San Francisco police reported that police “reported no damage at this time, and operations continue normally” in San Francisco.

American Canyon is 35 miles northeast of San Francisco in the southern Napa County.
