Roseville police say two burglary suspects returned to the scene of the crime for a second straight night - and got caught.
The two Sacramento men reportedly broke into cargo containers at Pasco Scientific on Foothills Boulevard at 8 a.m. Sunday, carrying off several volt meters, police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther said. They tripped a burglar alarm but were gone when police arrived, she said.
However, they returned at 2:29 a.m. Monday, again setting off an alarm and rummaged through a second cargo container that was forced open, Gunther said.
Police arrived in time to stop a pickup truck that was driving away from the business, she said.
They arrested Jeffrey John Bravo, 38, and Rene Gutierrez, 32, on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy and possession of burglar's tools. Gutierrez was also booked on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine, Gunther said.
The two were being held in the Placer County jail in Auburn on $30,000 bail each, she said.
