DEAR KELLY: I'm a junior in high school and my boyfriend is in college. He's about three hours away so its not so far that we never see each other. The problem is that everyone seems to want us to break up because they think that I should date people in high school and he should date people where he lives.

DEAR KELLY: I know you counsel teenagers, so I'm sure I'm not the first to have this problem.

DEAR TEENAGERS: There is a very simple phrase that can make your life much more peaceful if you learn to accept it (not just hear it).

DEAR KELLY: My sister is very promiscuous. Our parents are divorced and our mom is an alcoholic who will sleep with anybody, even with my sister and me sleeping in the next room.

DEAR READERS: I have a confession to make: I love Mitch Albom books. Some call them predictable or cheesy, but I find life lessons in them and I love a book that makes me think about the choices I make.
