SACRAMENTO A Rio Linda man is being held in the county jail in lieu of $50,000 bail in connection with arson at a construction site late Saturday.
Max Roy Meadows, 19, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of arson to a commercial structure, burglary, possession of a concealed weapon and possession of burglary tools, according to a Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District news release.
The district's arson investigators arrested Meadows within hours of the fire, which began about 10:50 p.m. Saturday.
The fire the second at the site caused $10,000 in damage to a construction trailer that served as the office on the construction site at Power Inn Road and Orchard Loop Lane.
The blaze was quickly extinguished and no one was injured.
Meadows is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. today in Sacramento Superior Court, according to online jail inmate information.
