The all-volunteer Sacramento Golf Council is looking for a few more members and a little love from the city and county courses at which it annually operates more than 20 amateur tournaments.

'Most embarrassing' golfer making progress

Aaron Heinz, the golfer deemed most embarrassing to play alongside by area players and a vote of Bee readers, has been given his third lesson by Empire Ranch teaching pro Brett Taylor. Golf: Holes in one

To appear in the paper, a hole in one must be faxed to The Bee from the golf course at which it was made. The golf course must submit the hole in one on the course's official stationery at (916) 326-5503.
