A big night: Food from the Supper Club, Enotria, Fran's Cafe and more; hosted bars, a costume contest, Mysterious Masqueraders, live music and an auction, including a chance to conduct the Philharmonic in concert.

Featured volunteer: Kim Vu joined the Masked Ball committee because of her music background. "I started at a very young age playing the piano," said Vu, who was a member of the Sacramento Youth Symphony. "I want youth to experience the same joy and beauty of music."
