A leader of one of the political campaigns that attempted to force a public vote on Sacramentos arena plan said this morning that the group will not appeal a judges ruling that struck the measure from the ballot.

With a judge unwilling to overlook their mistakes, two Sacramento taxpayer groups lost their legal fight Wednesday to force a vote on the citys planned $258 million contribution toward a new downtown Kings arena.
