2008 Share a Story Children's Book Drive
Share the magic of a good story with thousands of children. Gather your new and gently used books and donate them at any Sacramento Public Library location during the month of April or any local Borders Books & Music through May 5. See below and in the right column for ways you can participate
Volunteer
You can help the Children's Book Drive by volunteering your time to help us sort books. The Bee is partnering with KVIE to coordinate volunteers to perform this vital task. Click here to register with KVIE to volunteer.
Sorting will take place during April and May.
Hold a Mini-Drive
The Share a Story Children's Book Drive is looking for community members to help hold mini-drives through their schools or business.
It's really very simple. The Bee will provide you with all of the materials you need to collect books, including promotional materials and pick-up of the books you collect. All organizations that participate in a mini-drive will be included in a thank you ad to run in The Sacramento Bee.
