On the Move: Robert Johnston to head IT program at Heald College Rancho Cordova

Robert Johnston has been named information technology program director for the Heald College Rancho Cordova campus. Previously, he was an IT instructor at the Rancho Cordova and Roseville campuses.

The California State Teachers' Retirement System has hired Cassandra Lichnock as director of human resources and organizational development.

Casey Garten has been promoted to regional vice president for Bank of the West. He will work in the agricultural banking center.

Kari Lynn Decker has joined APX Inc. as managing director. She will focus on the regulatory and government affairs program.

Teichert Construction has promoted Ken Kayser to president. He joined the company in 1989 and most recently worked as vice president of operations.

Jeff Eller has been named president and chief executive officer of Sonora Regional Medical Center. He begins Oct. 1. He currently is vice president at Glendale Adventist Medical Center.

Sierra Vista Bank has hired Steve Romeo as senior vice president, commercial banking officer.

Visionary Integration Professionals has named Margaret Teichert as marketing manager.

Jennifer Crisologo has joined the Principal Financial Group as a financial services representative.

Chantel Hoad has been hired as director of foundation and programs for the Sacramento Asian Pacific Islander Chamber of Commerce. He has 16 years of experience in the field.

Merit, a provider of professional community association management services, has hired Jessica Banks as community manager.

Tami Horwath has joined First Insurance Funding Corp. as a relationship manager.

HDR has hired Mario Carreon as senior transportation engineer.

Dreyfuss & Blackford Architects has hired Richard Deutsch as a senior project manager and Araceli Rosas as job captain. Deutsch will work on planning and project development projects. Rosas brings more than 20 years of experience to the position.

Joel Higginbotham has been hired as Northwest territory manager for Riemser Inc. to sell its specialty dental line.

Todd Vatalaro has joined MicroStrategy Inc. as a senior account manager covering the Pacific Northwest. He brings 14 years of experience to the position.

Jaclyn Strong is president of the newly formed North Sacramento chapter of Team Women.
