MyECheck Inc., the El Dorado Hills-based electronic transaction processor and provider of alternative payment services, reported a net loss of $122,562 in the third quarter ended Sept. 30.
That was a slight improvement over a $210,540 loss in the second quarter.
Quarterly revenue was $156,174 compared with $110,805 in the quarter ended June 30. Through nine months this year, revenue was $325,892 compared with $4,771 in the year-ago period.
The company, started in 2004, said it continues to ramp up operations, with increasing numbers of transaction processors and businesses opting for the MyECheck system.
"We reached a major milestone this quarter by processing almost $30 million ... compared to $22 million for the first two quarters of 2008," said Edward Starrs, CEO of MyECheck. "Our software is proving itself as we continue to increase output for our clients and their customers."
