Grange youth conference

The California State Grange National Grange Western Regional Youth Conference kicks off Friday at the Orange-vale Grange Hall, 5807 Walnut Ave.
The three-day conference starts at 6 p.m. with a welcome dinner and celebration of the 120th anniversary of the Junior Grange for ages 5 to 14.
The event is open to everyone, and includes activities and workshops and semifinals for the National Grange Sing-a-Song and speech contests. Registration fee of $75 includes meals and a field trip to Sutter's Fort in Sacramento. To register or for more information, call the Grange at (916) 454-5805.
