CITRUS HEIGHTS – A motorcyclist died early Thursday from what police believe were accident-related injuries.

A pedestrian walking on Baird Avenue about 2:20 a.m. found a crashed motorcycle and a male motorcyclist lying unresponsive on the ground, Sgt. Lee Herrington said.

When emergency crews responded, they found had died from what appeared to be accident-related injuries.

He was identified by the Sacramento County Coroner's Office as Leon Thomas Dzigorski, 32, of Citrus Heights. The Police Department's traffic unit determined the accident was alcohol-related, according to police.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the department's traffic team at (916) 727-5500.
