Police/Fire log: Sacramento/Natomas/Antelope

The following was provided by the Sacramento Police De-partment and the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department:

• 5700 block of Stockton Boulevard, south of Fruitridge Road, arrest. Mortimer Cook, 21, of Stockton was arrested at 2 a.m. May 6 on suspicion of motor vehicle theft and receiving stolen property.

• 17th and E streets, Boulevard Park, arrest. Eric Charles Baker, 26, of Vallwood Court, northeast of Whitney and Eastern avenues, was arrested at 3:27 a.m. May 6 on suspicion of attempted robbery, possessing narcotics paraphernalia and battery with bodily injury.

• Quinta Court, southwest of Mack Road and Stockton Boulevard, arrest. Lafrance Anthony Gastinell, 26, of the 4100 block of 16th Avenue, Fruitridge, was arrested at 4:05 a.m. May 6 on suspicion of importing, selling or transporting a controlled substance, possessing marijuana, failure to appear in court and evasion of fare payment.

• 7000 block of Demaret Drive, Golfcourse Terrace, arrest. Clarence Austin Holmes, 45, of the above location was arrested at 10 a.m. May 6 on suspicion of possessing or purchasing cocaine for sale and possession of a firearm by an ex-felon or addict.

• 400 block of Arden Way, North Sacramento, arrest. Freddie Lavell Young, 20, of the 4000 block of Broadway, Oak Park, was arrested at 1:10 p.m. May 6 on suspicion of probation violation and attempted robbery.

• 5600 block of Stockton Boulevard, Fruitridge, arrest. Glenn Edward Welge, 48, of the 5300 block of Standish Road, northwest of Fruitridge and Power Inn roads, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. May 6 on suspicion of robbery and possessing narcotics paraphernalia.

• 10th and J streets, Central City, arrest. Joel Richard, 27, of the 900 block of Vanderbilt Way, Campus Commons, was ar- rested at 1:57 p.m. May 6 on suspicion of possessing a dangerous drug, failure to appear in court, vehicle theft, riding a bicycle without a reflector and resisting or obstructing a peace officer or technician.

• 3900 block of Belden Street, Del Paso Heights, arrest. Paul Pahulu, 25, of the above location was arrested at 3:45 p.m. May 6 on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily harm.

• 7100 block of Bowling Drive, northeast of Florin Road and Franklin Boulevard, arrest. Emmanuel Lima, 22, of the 6200 block of Leola Way, Lemon Hill, was arrested at 5 p.m. May 6 on suspicion of evading a police officer by driving recklessly, possessing an assault weapon, hit-and-run driving that resulted in property damage and resisting or obstructing a peace officer.

• 3300 block of 10th Avenue, Oak Park, arrest. Curtis Shaver, 54, of the above location was arrested at 6:55 p.m. May 6 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, willful disobedience of a court order, burglary, petty theft with prior convictions and riding a bicycle while under the influence.

• 2700 block of Broadway, south of Fifth Street, arrest. Anthony Edward Smith, 26, of the 1300 block of South Avenue, Del Paso Heights, was arrested at 7 p.m. May 6 on suspicion of possessing or purchasing cocaine for sale. • 4200 block of 24th Street, Hollywood Park, arrest. Jackson David Leflar, 39, of the 3500 block of Turnbridge Drive, northeast of Florin Road and Franklin Boulevard, was arrested at 7:13 p.m. May 6 on suspicion of vehicle theft and buying or receiving stolen property.

• 23rd and Del Norte avenues, Fruitridge, arrests. Damien Leroy Jones, 29, of the 2600 block of Crosby Way, North Sacramento, and Jason Jackson, 36, of the 3300 block of 27th Avenue, northeast of Fruitridge Road and Franklin Boulevard, were arrested at 7:15 p.m. May 6 on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and possessing marijuana or hashish for sale. Jones also was arrested on suspicion of parole violation.

• 2400 block of Del Paso Boulevard, North Sacramento, arrest. George Berten Jones, 40, of the 2500 block of Beaumont Street, North Sacramento, was arrested at 8:05 p.m. May 6 on suspicion of buying or receiving stolen property and manufacturing, selling or possessing deadly weapons or explosives.
