Remember me, and I shall always live; A dream is all the comfort I can give To follow you, when I am newly dead (My spirit free but not already fled), Before you go away from me alone: I want to break no heart besides my own. Margaret Morley Finch, 1916 - 1999

McCapes, Dorthea Lee

I can not believe it has been a year. I am still dealing with losing you. I miss our phone calls and those long lunches we used to take-talking about everything and anything. We were more than mother and daughter. We were best friends. I think about you every day and all the journeys and challenges we faced together. Even in the darkest of times, we still found something to laugh about. Those memories will remain with me forever. I love you and miss you. Your daughter, Kathy

Savery-Gould, Sharon Diane

Sharon Savery Gould, a loving wife, mother, respected Public Relations professional, and leader in the health and fitness, home-schooling and church communities, passed away on November 21, 2014, from cervical cancer. She was 43-years old. Beautiful and talented, Sharon was born in Taipei Taiwan, to Army Major Donald F. Savery, Jr. and Donnie Sue Savery on June 23, 1971. Sharon moved to Pleasanton, CA, at the age of two, where she grew up and graduated from Pleasanton's Foothill High School. Sharon earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from CSU, Sacramento, before becoming a popular, creative, and multi-award-winning, PR professional; serving as Sacramento Public Relations Association President 1999-2000. In 2000, Sharon married husband, Darryl Gould; eventually settling in Orangevale, CA, and raising two, beautiful children, Annelyse (age 12), and Brendon (age 10). Choosing to homeschool, Sharon became a leader in the regional home-school community - organizing challenging lessons and fun field trips, while encouraging healthy, active participation in charity races, soccer, martial arts, and the performing arts. Throughout her life, Sharon inspired others - living by example with limitless enthusiasm, healthy/active involvement, positivity and wit. Sharon is survived by husband Darryl; two children, Annelyse and Brendon; Father Donald F. Savery Jr.; Sisters Cynthia Savery Vikan and Sonja Savery-Orton. A two-part Memorial Service celebrating her life is scheduled for Friday, December 19, 2014: at 11 am, friends are invited to the American River Parkway's Lower Sunrise Footbridge (rain or shine), to carry brightly colored umbrellas and drop flowers into the River in her honor; before continuing the Memorial at Granite Bay's Bayside Church, beginning at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the "Sharon Gould Great Kids Duathlon Fund" via Eppie's Great Race Foundation: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?_flow&SESSION=qLs_uZ0TAScYxBluSnoFCKS0oFVYPfjE6rMMpNm8KDuQPmRbmMnapGR8KHK&dispatch=5885d80a13c0db1f8e263663d3faee8d66f31424b43e9a70645c907a6cbd8fb4.
