The Women's Ministry at Shepherd of the Hills Church will hold a breakfast meeting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Denny's Restaurant, 3446 Coach Lane, Cameron Park.

Following breakfast, the group will head over to the Church Fellowship Hall at 4050 Durock Road, Suite 7, Shingle Springs, where an introduction will be given to the new community outreach program, "Quilts of Love," for local elementary schoolchildren at Christmastime.

The discussion also will include times and schedules for future quilting workshops.

Volunteers with every level of experience will be needed to cut and iron fabric, use a sewing machine and clip quilts.

Samples of easy quilts will be available, and kits will be on hand for volunteers to work on immediately.

Participants are asked to bring any material, a sewing machine and quilting equipment.

For more information, call (530) 672-2223.
