The El Dorado County Department of Transportation will hold a workshop from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Diamond Springs to discuss plans for realigning and widening Sly Park Road at the Clear Creek Bridge.
The project calls for providing an auxiliary lane for left-turn traffic off eastbound Sly Park Road onto northbound Clear Creek Road. The road alignment will be brought up to current standards and guardrails will be attached to a new bridge over Clear Creek, according to a department news release.
The workshop will be held at the Firefighters Memorial Hall, 510 Main St., Diamond Springs.
The public will have an opportunity to comment on the project's design and ask questions during the open forum.
People who are unable to attend the workshop may submit comments to Dave Spiegelberg at El Dorado County Department of Transportation, 2850 Fairlane Court, Placerville, or send e-mail to dspiegelberg@co.el-dorado.ca.us.
