Despite the downturn in the housing market, the El Dorado County Planning Commission today will consider approving proposals for several small residential development projects.
A development consisting of 23 single-family lots, ranging in size from 1.79 acres to 2.76 acres, is proposed for 81.6 acres northeast of Malcolm Dixon Road and Salmon Falls Road, in the El Dorado Hills area.
Another project in the El Dorado Hills area calls for creating 12 single-family lots, ranging in size from 1 to 7.2 acres, on about 35 acres on the east side of Salmon Falls Road, north of Green Valley Road.
In the Cameron Park area, 12 town houses are proposed on the west side of Cambridge Road, north of Estepa Drive.
Approval also is sought for the Fern Woods subdivision, consisting of 12 lots, 1 acre to 1.45 acres in size, on 14.7 acres on the east side of Larkspur Lane, north of Cedar Drive, in the Cedar Grove area.
The commission also will review draft ordinances governing lot-line adjustments and flood damage prevention.
The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Building C hearing room, 2850 Fairlane Court, Placerville.
