The Rescue Union School District in El Dorado County is accepting applications from residents interested in filling a vacant seat on the district's board of trustees
Trustee Bruce Lagomarsino is resigning, and the board plans to appoint someone to serve for the year remaining in his term. The appointment will be for December 2009 to November 2010.
Applications are available at the district office, 2390 Bass Lake Road, Rescue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on the district's Web site at www.rescue.k12.ca.us.
A completed application and two letters of reference must be submitted to the superintendent's office by noon Nov. 20.
