College marks 40 years

Folsom Lake College's El Dorado Center will celebrate its 40th anniversary from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on the campus at 6699 Campus Drive, Placerville. The celebration, open to the public, will feature musical performances by local schools and community musicians, Folsom Lake College student and faculty presentations and demonstrations, a magic act, children's activities and entertainment, an El Dorado Center memorabilia exhibit, observatory tours, local vendors and festival food.
Admission to the celebration is free, and a daily parking pass can be purchased for $1.
