The information was provided by the Elk Grove Police Department, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department and the Cosumnes Community Services District Fire Department from reports available for public review.
7500 block of Delta Point Way, near Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard, arrest. Marquiece Ashford, 20, and Marshon Harris, 18, were arrested at 11:30 p.m. May 29 on suspicion of robbery. The men reportedly forced their way into a home and pointed a BB gun at a man in the house. They allegedly took some items from the man and from his vehicle, which was parked outside. The two men then drove away but were arrested a short distance away.
9100 block of Trumbauer Way, Laguna West, animal problem. Firefighters responded at 11:12 a.m. May 30 to a call about a stranded mother duck and ducklings. The ducks were trapped in a neighborhood that had a fence that kept them from the lake in back of the houses. A couple of fence boards were removed so the ducks could get through. The homeowner was aware of the removal of the boards.
7400 Della Circle, near Power Inn and Florin roads, arrest. Lee Vue, 19, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. May 31 on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle and receiving stolen property. During a traffic stop, Vue was allegedly found to be driving a stolen vehicle.
9400 block of Acapulco Way, Elk Grove, arrest. Allen Avis, 52, was arrested at 9:52 a.m. May 31 on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possession of drugs, being under the influence of a controlled substance and on a warrant. Avis was arrested at his residence on a warrant. According to reports, narcotics were found during a search of his residence and he was found to be under the influence of narcotics.
8200 block of Wyandott Circle, near Power Inn Road and Auberry Drive, arrest. Shaneil Manning, 22, was arrested at 1:40 p.m. May 31 on a warrant.
9226 Colonsay Way, Churchill Downs, arrest. Brandon Jacquot, 18, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. June 1 on suspicion of burglary. A woman came home and found that her residence had been broken into and her television and DVD player had been stolen. She found the television and DVD player on neighboring property near Jacquot and another man, according to reports. Both of the men walked away. Jacquot was later found and arrested.
7128 Florin Perkins Road, near Florin Road, grand theft. At 5 p.m. June 1, someone took items from the backyard at New Covenant Christian Ministries.
9200 block of November Drive, Laguna Creek, arrest. Juliet Xiong, 20, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. June 1 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Sheldon and Elk Grove Florin roads, Elk Grove, arrest. Jessie Abernathy, 24, was arrested at 1:20 a.m. June 3 on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale. During a traffic stop, marijuana was allegedly found in his vehicle.
Elk Grove Boulevard and Auto Center Drive, Laguna Ridge, arrest. James David Paris, Jr., 27, was arrested at 2:18 p.m. June 5 on a warrant.
8200 block of Laguna Blvd., Laguna Creek, arrest. David Rainwater, 36, was arrested at 3:50 p.m. June 5 on suspicion of petty theft and burglary. Rainwater was arrested on suspicion of stealing items from Sports Authority.
9200 block of Elk Grove Florin Road, Elk Grove, arrest. Justin Garcia, 23, was arrested at 7:08 p.m. Friday on a warrant.
3200 block of Aurelia Court, Laguna West, arrest. Mandie Pace, 32, was arrested at 6:39 p.m. Saturday on warrants.
2300 block of Dinwiddie Way, Laguna West, arrest. Julie Hunt, 40, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Sunday on a warrant.
Bond Road and Stonebrook Drive, east Elk Grove, arrest. David Dau, 18, was arrested at 7:51 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of carrying a loaded, concealed firearm, illegal possession of firearms, illegal possession of ammunition, violating probation and possession of marijuana while driving. Officers were dispatched to a call about someone brandishing a firearm. A witness had the license plate number of the vehicle involved. Officers found the vehicle, allegedly driven by Dau. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded firearm and marijuana.
9400 block of West Stockton Blvd., Laguna Ridge, arrest. Brandon Thompson, 29, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Sunday on a warrant.
9400 block of Harbour Point Drive, Laguna West, arrest. Robert Booker, 51, was arrested at 10:41 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of burglary, illegal possession of firearms, resisting arrest, the unlawful carrying and possession of weapons and on a warrant. Officers responded to a report that someone was breaking into a vacant condo. Booker was reportedly found in the condo and resisted arrest.
Laguna Park Drive and Otter Creek Drive, Laguna Creek, arrest. Michael Henderson, 22, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. Monday on a warrant.
