Elk Grove detective promoted to sergeant

Elk Grove Detective Audrey Haug is being promoted to sergeant.
Her promotion ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Elk Grove City Council Chambers, 8400 Laguna Palms Way.
Haug has a 17-year career in law enforcement, with previous stints in the Riverside County Sheriff's Department and the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department.
During her time with the Elk Grove Police Department, Haug has been responsible for investigating domestic violence cases and serving as coordinator of the department's Citizens' Academy.
