Some kids would feel lucky just to sit on Santa's knee with their Christmas wish lists.
But children in Elk Grove next month will have a leg up on the rest. They're being offered a pancake breakfast with Old Saint Nick.
The Cosumnes Community Services District and Pride of Laguna Creek Lion's Club have joined forces to arrange breakfast with Santa on Dec. 6, a Saturday. And each child will get a chance to talk to the bearded man in red.
The event, which costs $5 a person for ages 3 and older, will be in Elk Grove Regional Park Pavilion at 9950 Elk Grove-Florin Road.
Seating is scheduled starting at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Pre-registration is required. To register call (916) 405-5300, or visit the district's Web site at www.yourcsd.com.
