Jamie Ford, the best-selling author of "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet," shares the true tale behind his new novel, "Love and Other Consolation Prizes," a historical romance based on the story of an orphan who was "raffled" as a prize at 1909 Seattle world's fair.
