Caught on camera: Police use stun gun on fan at Causeway Classic

During the 60th Causeway Classic between Sacramento State and UC Davis on Saturday, a fight broke out in the stands and local television cameras caught some of the altercation.

The State Hornet newspaper reported that the brawl left one man injured and as many as two people arrested.

“It was initially an argument about some of the players,” Sacramento State Police Lieutenant Dave Heaphy told the Hornet, Sacramento State University’s newspaper. “Some (players’) family members were there and it led to a physical altercation and there was alcohol involved.”

CBS Sacramento’s television cameras caught the fight and the apparent use of a stun gun by police to subdue a suspect. Here is the TV channel’s footage and report:
