It is accepting donations of turkey, stuffing mix, potatoes, cranberry sauce, canned gravy, rolls, frozen or canned vegetables and other holiday recipe ingredients. Donations are accepted from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. daily at 700 N. Fifth St., Sacramento, or 3587 Bleckely St., Mather.
Pour House will hold its turkey drive from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at 1910 Q St., Sacramento. The restaurant will give a coupon for a $1 draft beer or well cocktail and half off an appetizer to everyone who donates a turkey.
Cordova Community Food Locker is looking for 1,000 turkeys, trimmings and canned food for its Thankgiving Giveaway on Monday. Donations may be made 9 a.m.-1 p.m. today and noon-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 10497 Coloma Road, Rancho Cordova.
