Fruits, veggies ... yoga

What: Outdoor yoga sessions are planned every Saturday in August at the Oak Park Farmers Market. Event organizers said instructor Rhonda Jones will offer a variety of yoga classes for strength, flexibility and relaxation.

Where: McClatchy Park, 3500 Fifth Ave., Sacramento.

When: Yoga classes begin at 9:30 a.m.; farmers market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Saturday drivers

What: The fourth annual CAM Car Cruise, hosted by the California Automobile Museum, will roll through the streets of Sacramento County, with more than 300 colorful motor vehicles making the trip from California State University, Sacramento, to Fulton Avenue. This is the second year that the cruise will conclude on Fulton, which will be blocked off from El Camino to Marconi avenues from 5 to 8 p.m., when the cars will be the stars of a blocks-long car show. Spectators are encouraged to line the route and wave to cruisers.

Where: Cruise begins at CSUS, 6000 J St., and proceeds to Fulton Avenue via Fair Oaks Boulevard.

When: Cruise begins at 4 p.m.

SUNDAY

Swap at pavilion

What: The Sacramento Classic Car and Parts Swap Meet will draw a crowd of auto enthusiasts and classic vehicles to the Power Balance Pavilion parking lot. There will be 11,000 vendor and car corral spaces available, and organizers say nobody will be turned away. Swap meet items must be auto-related, and nostalgia items must be pre-1970s.

Where: 1 Sports Parkway, Sacramento.

When: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cost: $8; free for children 9 and younger. Parking is free.

Run/walk for Kaleo

What: Sponsored by the Sacramento Sheriff's K9 Association, Kaleo's 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk is a fundraiser. K9 Kaleo had to be retired because of a cancerous tumor on his rear foot. The association was able to pay for the surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy from the community's support and the success of the first Kaleo run in 2009. Money raised in subsequent runs has ensured that retired K9s are able to receive any needed treatment in their retirement years.

Where: 1000 Riverwalk Way, Carmichael.

When: 8 a.m. (registration begins at 7 a.m.).

Cost: $25 for 5K runners; $20 for 1-mile walk; $10 for children.

Stacks of wax in Davis

What: Buyers or sellers of albums, 45s - plus tapes and newfangled CDs and DVDs - will gather at the Vinyl and Music Fair in Davis. The event, sponsored by the city of Davis, Armadillo Music and KDVS (90.3 FM), will have more than 50 tables available to vendors.

When: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
