Every Sacramento public library will be closed March 30 due to staff furloughs.
In addition to the closure of all 28 public library locations, the library system's telephone information service also will not be in operation March 30. However, the library's website, www.saclibrary.org, will be available to request and renew books and other materials, pay overdue fines and apply for a library card.
In addition, the Central Library, 828 I St., will be the only library open March 31, Easter Sunday. The Central Library will be open from noon to 5 p.m. that day.
