The Sacramento SPCA, overloaded with cats and kittens, is waiving adoption fees Friday through Sunday.

The agency is hoping to place more than 100 felines in new homes, said spokeswoman Lesley Kirrene. Approved adopters will receive a cat that has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and licensed. Normal fees are $85.
