Meet Sierra. She’s got the energy of a lifelong friend with the maturity of a great companion. And she’s looking for a home. Sierra is 10 years old, so you might think she’s too old to keep up with you. Not true. Her Jack Russell terrier breed is known for its energetic tendencies, but her age balances her out nicely.

She’s always ready for a walk, great on a leash, affectionate enough to come sit with you and is house trained. Sierra gets along well with other friendly dogs and cats. She is used to living inside with a family. It’s our goal to find this sweet dog a home. Come visit her at the Sacramento SPCA, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, 6201 Florin Perkins Road or www.www.sspca.org.
