Let’s raise a toast to Mother’s Day weekend
Treat the women in your life to a beautiful, wine-filled getaway the weekend of May 9-10.
It starts on May 9 with the third annual First Blush tasting event, which celebrates lighter wines such as rosé, pinot noir, sauvignon blanc, riesling and sparking wines. Chefs will dish out delicious pairings on a vineyard terrace. Local breweries also will be present. First Blush runs from 1 to 4 p.m. for $49 per person.
Never miss a local story.
On May 10, enjoy a traditional Mother’s Day brunch with champagne, a prix fixe menu and omelet bar. Reservations can be made between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. for $69 per adult and $18 for children 12 and younger. Both events take place at the Meritage Resort at 875 Bordeaux Way.
